Had a great result today. Caught first zander. Another species off the hit list. Put up a good fight. Caught on 1/2 a roach deadbait.

A week in Norfolk

Had a great week in Norfolk. Caught a cracking 12lbs pike. Saw this one for a while in the river and it had grabbed a small fish I was catching. Tried a few different methods and eventually caught it. (Gave me a pretty bad cut too). Caught a few species including: Roach, Rudd, Perch, Bream, Pike, Eel, Ruffe, Gudgeon.
Can't wait to go back!

After more than a few attempts to catch one I finally managed it. Although it's one of the smallest fish I'm likely to catch, this stickleback took as much finesse in catching it as some of my biggest. Caught fair and square on a microscopic size 26 hook. Never give up! Next stop...Norfolk!
